Changing Season

I like to think of my life like a tree. The older I get, the more pruning I get. I may add things to my life that weigh me down or break me in areas, but when I learn to let go, I grow even stronger. I stand tall in storms and even when I seem to droop a bit the sun(and the Son of God) picks me up and makes me happy again. There is a season. Some seasons I flourish and reap my hard work. Sometimes God gives to me and takes away - just to make room for better things in my life. As the Season is changing I am learning to be Thankful for what God has given me, and the amount of time he has given me. I have been following him closely this year and I'm more than ready to grow how he needs me to. Maybe this next season is the season I struggle for a while - then flourish. No matter what - I'm not going to let anyone, or anything cut me down. I'm going to let God remove from my life the branches he wants to..so that I can grow up much stronger..
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
A Time for Everything
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

What a beautiful post! I hope that in all the seasons that you go through your beautiful soul and incredible faith will just shine :)
And I know I still owe you a post! I'm so scared I won't be able to do something pretty, hopefully I will be inspired soon!

Have a happy weekend! :)

Thank you for posting this. I was browsing your blog via google reader and your words spoke to me. I'm in a season where it feels like God is taking away, but now I'll mull over what He is actually giving me in its stead. (so I have a lower paycheck for a year or so....maybe I have more creativity in other areas to make up for that lack of money?)
